Child Support and Alimony Attorneys

In New Jersey, child support is based on guidelines set up by the state. New Jersey uses a formula to decide how child support will be provided, and that formula is based on the parties' income. There are circumstances where parties can deviate from the formula, such as when income exceeds state guidelines or when the child has special mental or physical needs that will require support throughout their life.
